Vocabulary
Throughout my time working on vocab.com, I have answered 2,244 questions, scored 324,275 points, and spent a grand total of 6 hours and 11 minutes on this website. I have seen words I have been using for a long time and some that I have never heard of. Ever. For example the words tawdry. I'll use it in a sentence for you. The rug was very tawny, but interestingly enough it was very soft. Tawny means "having the color of tanned leather." Who ever thought of that word? That is why words interest me because I know that I would've never come up with these crazy words.
Here are some more examples of words that intrigue me;
-The dessert I had was saccharine.
Saccharine means overly sweet.
- My back was assuaged by my message therapist.
Assuage means to provide physical relief, as from pain.
-Without glasses, people are amorphous.
Amorphous means having no definite form or distinct shape.
My point is, words are fascinating. There are probably millions of words that you do not know so go and expand your vocabulary and exceed expectations.

Sickness
Sickness is an internal monster
It causes one to feel lower
The feeling eats at your insides
It tears at your muscles
Sickness is like a slithering snake waiting to strike
Your head spins like a turntable
You are constantly walking through a tar pit
Sickness is not immortal,
it can be beaten
With an equally powerful force
Along with the help of time

ATDPTI- Response 2
The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian is a title that applies to Junior and comes with consequences. Junior lost the respect of most people in the reservation and he lost his best friend Rowdy when he decided to go to Reardon. Alexie makes this conflict see more silly than it actually is by using humor to cover the seriousness of it up. It actually is a good strategy for the young audience she is writing this book for.
Junior's time at Reardon is not too much better than his time at the reservation. The only person who seems to care about him is Gordy. Gordy is like the nerdy and white version of Rowdy. I feel that Gordy is a representation of the opposite of what Junior thinks the white people at Reardon will treat him like. Gordy is accepting of Junior and likes to hang out to with Junior and they are both outsiders because Gordy is super smart and Junior is an Indian. Alexie does a good job with creating special relationship and interactions between Junior and other characters like his sister, Rowdy, his dad, his grandmother, Penelope, the reservation, and all of the people at Reardon. Alexis's message is starting to get clearer through these relationships and I'm excited to see the full picture once we finish reading.

Research
This research project has taught e a lot of things. One of them is how to organize and analyze your sources. I have never done a research project this big, so using Gale Database and doing notecards really helped my paper and thoughts stay organize. Organization of a research paper is a key factor to writing a sufficient paper, so knowing what you're going to do has great value.
The other thing have I learned throughout this research project is all the details within the camps during the Holocaust. I knew that they were treated brutally and forced to work all day without food and water, but I did not know the specifics. Once I read through around five medical experiments and a few articles about the daily process of a prisoner I had to take a break from my work because my findings were horrible. Reading about things is sometimes worse than watching a documentary about it because your mind is the movie theatre so it exaggerates things, but I do not think what I can think up is any worse than the fear and pain the Jews went through.
